Destiny 2 has a heart for both unsuccessful and unenthusiastic anglers. That’s why this week, as part of the Bungie Day celebrations, there’s a new fishing perk: Lucky Week! And of course the activities also rotate. As always, MeinMMO gives a weekly overview.
This is happening this week: After the fishing activity quickly lost popularity, Bungie is now helping. That’s why this week there will be a bonus on Nessus, EDZ and Throne World that doubles the catch rate for exotic fish.
So, with that, even the most unsuccessful or listless angler should be able to quickly snag the three necessary blades needed to then use them to complete the “Whetstone” encounter in Methane Sea dives. An exo-weapon called “Vicious Tool” from the Veist forge is said to be hiding there.
In addition to the increased fishing luck, there will also be bonus reputation ranks and rewards in all three playlists. And the gold plating of the title “Leader” is also possible from this week, because the leader node is finally unlocked.
We at MeinMMO have also already looked beyond the current DLC into the future and summarized all important information about the upcoming showcase for the expansion “The Final Form”, which was already teased in this mini-trailer:
The most important information about activities from 04.07. until 11.07.
Vanguard: Dawn – The Crucible
Earn the Dusk Weapon this week: Buzzard, a 300 rate of fire kinetic pistol. In the twilight you also get it as a master version with improved values.
Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity
Endgame: Raid challenges and dungeon rotation
Farmable endgame in weekly rotation: In the further endgame the legacy rotations are waiting. Both the rotation raid and the rotation dungeon are farmable. This means you can complete the individual encounters again and again to receive a wide variety of items and complete your collection. Including possible exotics obtainable in this content.
Bungie will continue to expand these activity rotations of content from Season 22 onwards. Then players can play not only raids and dungeons as “legacy”, but also old exotic missions. So the circle closes further and further until at some point all Destiny content will probably be in the game again.
Weekly Activities
A number of activities and challenges have been updated again with the weekly reset, giving players a variety of rewards and progression, and making them better Wardens through repetition.
