(Finance) – Webuild communicated that it was the industrial initiative known as Progetto Italia has been fully completedaimed at creating a major player in Italian infrastructure also by virtue of the entry of CDP Equity and the main financial institutions in the country (Intesa Sanpaolo, Unicredit, Banco BPM) in the capital of the company listed on Euronext Milan. It is recalled that the operation, in addition to guaranteeing a dimensional growth of the group, has allowed theaggregation of various companies in the sector (like Astaldi) and the acquisition of innovative technical and engineering skills.
The completion of the Italy Project has a statutory reflex, with the automatic forfeiture of some transitional clauses intended for it. Furthermore, the company has established the Special List of Shareholders who intend to take advantage of the increase of the vote; the technical formalities for the operation of the register are being completed, which will then be made available to the public on the company website.
Finally, Webuild announced that the investment agreement entered into force on 2 August 2019 between, inter alia, Salini Costruttori, CDP Equity and the company having as its object in particular certain corporate governance rules will remain valid and effective until 2 August 2024having automatically renewed for a further 2 years.
