“One person is the victim of bank fraud every four seconds in France.” This alarming observation is established by Raphaël Bartlomé, Head of the Legal Department of UFC-Que Choisir, and illustrates the need to raise awareness among the general public of new forms of online scams and in particular of phishing techniques, or “phishing”, moreover more sophisticated. It is this imperative that prompted the establishment of Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr, under the impetus of the National Information Systems Security Agency (ANSSI) and the Ministry of the Interior. A system aimed at observing and anticipating digital risk, preventing cybersecurity risks, but also providing assistance to victims of malicious cyber acts through a online platform.
