Weak Wall Street looks to the Fed

(Finance) – The Wall Sreet stock exchange continues weak after the much above expectations on new jobs in the United States reinforced the hypothesis of a faster-than-expected monetary tightening by the Federal Reserve. The prospect of a more aggressive central bank on interest rate hikes reinforces the dollar.

528,000 jobs (excluding agriculture) were created in July compared to the previous month, while analysts expected an increase of 258,000. Unemployment fell to 3.5%, below the consensus expectations which had predicted a 3.6% figure.

Among the US indices, the Dow Jones stands at 32,752 points, while, on the contrary, theS & P-500which loses 0.27%, trading at 4,141 points.

Downhill the Nasdaq 100 (-0.79%); on the same trend, below parity theS&P 100which shows a decline of 0.39%.

The sectors are in good evidence in the S&P 500 power (+ 2.85%) e financial (+ 0.73%). In the list, the sectors secondary consumer goods (-1.32%), telecommunications (-0.80%) e utilities (-0.74%) are among the best sellers.

At the top of the ranking of American giants components of the Dow Jones, JP Morgan (+ 2.72%), Chevron (+ 2.51%), Goldman Sachs (+ 0.99%) e Travelers Company (+ 0.92%).

The strongest falls, on the other hand, occur on Cokewhich continues the session with -1.13%.

Disappointing Walt Disneywhich lies just below the levels of the eve.

Lazy Boeingwhich shows a small decrease of 0.77%.

The worst performances, on the other hand, are recorded on Modernwhich gets -5.96%.

Thud of Tesla Motorswhich shows a drop of 4.98%.

Letter on Micron Technologywhich records a significant decline of 3.47%.
