It was the day after a particularly successful Xbox Games Showcase that Microids decided to communicate on its flagship game of 2024: ANTS. Adapted from the novels by Bernard Werber, the game is getting a trailer overview this morning with voiceover to accompany and explain what we see on the screen. And the ant is in charge 103 683 that the player will find himself, with the objective of ensuring the survival of his colony. In game, this means creating nests, reproducing, feeding but also defending themselves against predatory enemies ready to devour other ants. Beetles, gendarmes, caterpillars, praying mantises, birds, so many adversaries to face, knowing that we will still call on allies to go to war. Climbing on the back, or rather the shell of a snail, to invade other territories, this is one of the promises of this game Les Ants which was developed under Unreal Engine 5.4 by the French studio Fire Tower.
This new trailer is also an opportunity for Microids to reveal the release date, set for November 7, 2024 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
