In London, a commission of inquiry opened on March 3 to shed light on the death of around thirty exiles who were trying to join England, on the night of November 23 to 24, 2021. A makeshift boat sank despite the calls for repeated distress to the authorities. Issa Mohamed Omar is one of the only two survivors of this drama. He was 28 years old when he found himself on the boat. This Tuesday, March 4, for almost three hours, he delivered to investigators an icing narrative of the sinking.
