Province of Utrecht – The supermarket in Mijdrecht, a school complex in Montfoort, an erotic salon in Soest, a palace in Baarn, a sports park in Leerdam, a nature campsite in Leusden, the parking policy in Woerden and the renovation of Tivoli in Utrecht: all subjects that the Council of State had to intervene in. The figures show that the Dutch are increasingly turning to this administrative judge. And in Utrecht, too, residents know where to find the Council of State. “That is partly an expression of dissatisfaction,” says the National Ombudsman, Reinier van Zuthpen.
