We finally know how many seasons the series highlight should

The celebrated video game adaptation The Last of Us will return this year with season 2, which will tackle the video game The Last of Us Part II. However, the sequel game is so extensive that a single season will not be enough to bring the lush story in series form.

Thanks to the HBO drama program manager Francesca Orsi, we learned how many seasons of the US broadcaster HBO are currently planning.

There should be so many The Last of US relays in the end

As the HBO employee recorded against Deadline, you are currently not only calculating with an additional season 3:

We don’t have a complete or final plan, but I think It looks after four seasons. I don’t want to confirm that, but it looks like we’re ready after this and two other seasons.

Depending on whether the video game developers around Neil Druckmann at Naughty Dog still announce the Last of Us Part III, the relay forecast of the series version could of course also change. A further game continuation has not yet been announced, on which showrunner Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) could then orientate itself.
