Niko Anttola skied the under-20 10 km world champion in Canada. Finland already has a pot of six medals from Whistler’s World Cup tracks.

Niko Anttola celebrated the Under-20 Men’s 10km World Championships in Whistler, Canada. 19-year-old Anttola took command right at the beginning of the race and kept his top position until the end.
Anttola left the Norwegians behind on free skiing by Lars Heggen and Thomas Linnebo Mollestadin. Heggen, who skied for silver, was six seconds behind Anttola. Mollestad, who took the bronze, lost to Anttola by seven seconds.
Anttola, the super promise of Finnish skiing, already won her second medal of the Games. He already skied to the World Cup silver in the 20 km joint start competition.
Anttola is already competing in his third World Junior Championships. In previous times, the prize was two personal silvers and a relay silver. At Whistler’s 2010 Olympic tracks, the color of the medal changed to gold.

Grosberghaugen Andreassen was six seconds faster than the two and already achieved his second championship of the Games.
Eevi-Inkeri Tossavainen skied ninth as the best Finn. Tossavainen was one minute and 14 seconds behind the leader. Tossavainen celebrated the sprint world championship right at the beginning of the Games.
