Wayne Gretzky speaks from the heart with the coolest tribute to Victor Hedman – reached the mighty milestone last night

The Tampa Bay Lightning are red hot right now.
And Victor Hedman plays dream hockey.
Last night, the Swedish star was praised – by none other than Wayne Gretzky.
– He is outstanding, says The Great One.

Victor Hedman has a resume that should be enough for a place in the Hall of Fame when his career is over, but he’s not quite there yet. The Tampa Bay Lightning, who have won two Stanley Cups in the last five years, started the season tentatively, but just in time for the playoffs to be around the corner, they have woken up, to say the least.

Reached the mighty milestone

In the team, you have a great player Nikita Kucherov, who completely rakes in points, but the great leader of the team is still called Victor Hedman. The Swedish back star, according to many the best back in the NHL in the last decade, stood last night for another assist, and with that he reached a mighty milestone.

The assist marked Hedman’s 70th point of the season, making him three times in his career. But it is not only offensively that Hedman contributes. He is one of the NHL’s most skilled defenders and despite the fact that he turns 34 this year, he gets enormous confidence in the Lightning, and in the night’s winning game against Boston, he played a full 25 minutes and 49 seconds.

Gretzky’s giant tribute

Hedman has been a strong contributor to the fact that the Lightning have now won seven of their last eight games (they also lost the eighth in overtime). The trend comes in time for Tampa, with just ten games left in the regular season. They have now taken a firm hold on one of the two wild card spots in the division, and everything points to the playoffs again for Hedman and the Lightning. Hedman was widely praised after his effort last night, and speaking of plaudits, it came from someone who knows hockey, to say the least.

Wayne Gretzky, the best hockey player of all time, is now an expert on the television channel TNT, and last night he raised Hedman to the skies.

– Hedman is bigger, stronger and smarter than the backs during my time in the league. He is outstanding both as a player and a leader in the team, says Gretzky, according to Expressen.
