De Bilt, Utrecht – The Dutch water polo players, with the Biltse goalkeeper Sarah Buis of UZSC in the selection, just missed the bronze in the super final of the World League. The team of national coach Evangelos Doudesis lost the match for third place in Tenerife via penalty throws to world and Olympic champion United States. Penalty throws were needed after the game ended in 11-11.
