Water polo: ZPC Amersfoort wins big, men lose UZSC

Eredivisie water polo battered UZSC loses topper ZPC Amersfoort beats

UTRECHT – The water polo players of UZSC have lost in the Eredivisie against number two De Zaan. In Utrecht it was 8-13. ZPC Amersfoort defeated number eleven BZC in its own house with large numbers of 17-6.

UZSC started well and led 6-3 after the first half. In the third period, De Zaan came back to 8-8. Then the victory was won. At UZSC, Sook Willemsen, Tom ten Wolde, Flemming Katrop and Benjamin Hoepelman scored twice.

The Utrecht team are sixth with 43 points from 22 games.

Palotas plays leading role at ZPC Amersfoort

ZPC Amersfoort was the lesser in the first half, but went into halftime with a 6-4 lead. In the second half, the Amersfoorters ran out on top scorer Gergely Palotas. He scored a total of seven times.

The team from Amersfoort is seventh with 42 points from 22 games.
