Water, MIT: green light for 418 interventions for 12 billion

(Finance) – After the presentation by Minister MI wait for Salvini of the proposal in the last water control room of the new sector plan PNIISSI, the ministries involved formally expressed their agreement, which was also heard by ARERA.

This was announced by the Ministry of Infrastructure, explaining that the proposal relating to the new investment planning phase rThe result is composed of 418 interventions for a total requested amount of €12,004,184,074.95.

In particular, it concerns: 66 iinterventions relating to reservoirs for 3,256,341,908.83 euros;; 93 interventions relating to derivations for 1,665,657,131.14 euros; 137 interventions relating to additions for 3,540,710,114.77 euros; 122 interventions relating to aqueducts for 3,541,474,920.21 euros.

The proposed interventions – we read in the note – are distributed at national level on a regional basis.
The planning arises from the requests presented by the territory, strictly verified with the planning of the area authorities. It will be updated approximately every two years and will form the basis of future programming, i.e. the allocation of resources available for the implementation of the interventions. Now, having gathered the consultation of the MIC, MASE, MASAF and MEF, having consulted ARERA, the new planning will be submitted to the unified conference for approval. As a result, the MIT, led by minister Matteo Salvini, will be able to approve its programming for a total amount of 900 million euros.
