After several scorching summers, the President of the Republic announced a “Water Plan” on March 30, 2023. This aims to guarantee the sobriety of all uses and to reduce withdrawals from the resource by 10% by 2030. Concretely, the implementation of this action plan is organized around 5 strategic axes: organizing the sobriety of water uses for all stakeholders, optimizing the availability of the resource, preserving water quality, being able to better respond to drought crises and putting in place the means to achieve these ambitions.
