Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The retired police officer Teddy Bondefalk, who was operated on by scandal surgeon Paolo Macchiarini, will receive 75,000 kroner in damages from Region Stockholm.

It is now decided by the Court of Appeal, which thereby changes the district court’s judgment. Peacock, who suffered from sleep apnea, was operated on twelve years ago by Macchiarini who removed four centimeters of his trachea. Teddy Bondefalk was severely disabled after the operation. He suffered an acute respiratory arrest, resulting in cardiac arrest and brain damage, and lost most of his sight, hearing and ability to swallow.

Ever since the operation, he has claimed that he was subjected to other and more risky procedures than those he had consented to. Region Stockholm must also pay Bondefalk’s legal costs of just over SEK 600,000.
