He sat at the helm of a large freighter for over 600 miles in the belief that the ship would take them to Europe. When he and three other migrants were rescued from the helm, the police’s question came as a shock.
– They asked if I knew where I was. I said “no” and then they just answered “Brazil”, says Roman Goimene.
