The call: Do not drive the car
Recently, several owners of the two Peugeot models in Denmark have been affected by the same serious problem, reports Jyllands-Posten.
In Denmark, owners are now being asked not to use their cars, and in Sweden both models are being recalled.
The wheel can come off
The fault involves something as drastic as the suspension for the right front wheel collapsing on several cars, with the result that the wheel partially came off.
The culprit in the drama is the attachment for the spider joint in the lower link arm.
No serious accidents have yet occurred as a result of the error.

200 cars in Sweden are affected
Although the error has so far only been reported on examples of the Peugeot e-3008 and e-5008 in Denmark, it has been decided to recall the models in Sweden as well.
In total, around 200 Swedish owners are affected, who have been contacted by the general agent Wismo Group.
“Approximately 200 Peugeot owners were contacted in December and immediately referred to their authorized workshop. There they are offered a loaner car while their car is being fixed,” writes David Lindahl, press contact at Wismo Group, in a comment to We Car Owners.
