Several regions will make staff reductions despite the government’s announcement of six billion in additions this year, according to Sweden’s Radio’s Ekot.
– We will have to take measures in any case, says Marie Morell, chairman (M) of the regional board in Östergötland to the radio.
Similar answers are given by the moderate chairman of the regional board in Sörmland and the social democratic chairman in Värmland, regions which, like Östergötland, have announced layoffs of hundreds of employees.
