The police have arrested four 25-year-old men suspected of breaking into the Kista mall in northwest Stockholm.
The suspects allegedly fled the scene in two cars, and in connection with the arrest, warning shots were fired because the police perceived the situation to be so threatening.
– There is an extensive effort that is underway in Kista and north of Stockholm, says Ola Österling, press spokesperson for the police in the Stockholm region.
No one should have been injured.
Two criminal investigations have been started, one concerns serious theft and serious illegal threats, while the other deals with attempted murder or serious assault.
