The news claimed that Israeli intelligence units would target Hamas members in Lebanon, Turkey and Qatar.
Israeli domestic intelligence agency Shin-Bet (Shabak) Director Ronen Bar stated in a recording broadcast on Israeli state television KAN that “they are determined to kill Hamas leaders all over the world, including Qatar, Turkey and Lebanon, even if it takes years.”

Speaking to Anadolu Agency, officials reminded that various intelligence services had previously tried to carry out illegal activities on the territory of the Republic of Turkey and emphasized that no service would be allowed to carry out such operations.
