An orange warning is issued from 21:00 tonight and concerns the northern part of the county, from just north of Lindesberg and up to Hällefors and Kopparberg.
There is a high risk of power outages, delays in public transport and limited accessibility.
Yellow warning
In other parts of the county, a yellow warning has been issued, which may also lead to limited access on the roads. The warning extends for the county until lunchtime on Tuesday.
Wet snow is also expected to fall throughout Monday.
According to SVT’s meteorologist Nils Holmqvist, the weather will continue to be unstable throughout the next week.
