Some invasive alien plants and tips on what you can do about them
Blomsterlupin
Tip: Do not plant it. If you already have it – remove it before it sets seeds. Dig it up, or strike if it is a lot, and repeat it for several years.
Canadian golden rice
Tip: Switch off the inflorescences before flowering, or remove the entire plant before it sets seed. Pack it in bags during transport.
Vresros
Tip: Cut off the flowers before seeding, ie before it becomes a rosehip. Dig it up with the roots, before it has time to grow large and cut off root shoots.
Giant balm
Tip: Pull it up and pack it in bags for transport. Do this before it goes into seed, because it causes great spread. Repeat several times per season.
Giant locomotive
Tip: The plant sap can cause blistering blisters, so use protective equipment if you are going to fight it. Before sowing – remove the seed racks and cut or dig up the roots. Repeat this several times per season.
Parkslide
Tip: There are no effective control methods and there is a risk that it can be stimulated to grow during control. Let it stand if it does not spread.
Silkworm
Tip: Pull up the plant by hand. It is important to get the whole root. Make sure that root parts and seeds do not remain in place.
