Warmth in Götaland and Svealand – still cold in the north

Milder weather on the way.
Already on Sunday, the weather will change – in some places there are differences of up to 20 degrees.
– Already today we have a couple of occasional plus degrees in parts of Svealand and Götaland, says TV4’s meteorologist Caroline Andersson.

After cold days, the frozen can finally put away their warmest winter clothes in some parts of the country for a while to come. During Sunday, milder weather has moved in over Svealand and Götaland, where it is plus degrees in several places.

But the warmer weather has not reached all the way to our elongated country.

– It is still cold in Norrland, down to minus 30 degrees in some places. So there are very big differences, says TV4’s meteorologist Caroline Andersson.

The heat continues upwards

But the heat will continue further up at the beginning of next week. During Tuesday, it is expected that there will only be occasional minus degrees in southern Norrland. An increase of up to 20 degrees.

– So there are quite big differences now, says Caroline Andersson.

Possible cold suede further on

But the northernmost parts must continue to wait for the heat. There, the temperatures will remain well below zero.

And despite the drastic turn to the south, it is not time for those who are looking forward to putting the coldest season behind them to blow their breath.

– From what we can see at the moment, a couple of days ahead, there will be no real cold round. But then there may be more cold snaps later on. Winter is not quite over yet, says Caroline Andersson.
