Warmth and sun during the next week – but then things will turn around

The heat and the sun will continue to bite at the beginning of next week.
But take the opportunity to enjoy yourself – because later it will turn around.
– The temperature is expected to be 24 degrees and locally maybe 25 degrees, says TV4’s meteorologist Antonio Fuentes Moreno.

The holidays must be over for most people. But next week will bring sunshine and warmth – at least for a few days.

– On Monday it will be sunny in large parts of the country. The temperature will be 20-23 degrees in the south and 15-20 in the north. On Tuesday, it is still sunny in the eastern parts of the country. In the western parts it is starting to become cloudy because of a cold front that is approaching, says TV4’s meteorologist Antonio Fuentes Moreno.

– It will probably be warmest in the eastern parts of Götaland and Svealand. The temperature is expected to be 24 degrees and locally maybe 25 degrees.

Then it turns around

But take the opportunity to enjoy the sun. Because on Wednesday, things change when a cold front sweeps in over the country and the temperatures drop and the wind picks up.

– On Wednesday it will be rain and wind for most people, says Antonio Fuentes Moreno.

Although a ridge of high pressure moves in on Thursday and stabilizes the weather a bit, more rain looks set to arrive on Friday and into the weekend.

– On Friday, a new front moves in from the west. It will mainly affect the western parts during the day but eventually it will affect the whole country. Some rain is expected, but also some wind. Rain and wind may continue during the weekend but it is an uncertain forecast now to say where it will rain and wind the most, says Antonio Fuentes Moreno.
