A law in Poland will give Ukrainian refugees the same opportunities as Poles
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, celebrated this Sunday the visit to kyiv of the President of Poland, Andrzej Dudaand has announced a bill which will give Ukrainians residing in Poland the same opportunities as Poles.
The Ukrainian leader has praised the line of cooperation between Poland and Ukraine. It has also announced a bill for the Ukrainians residing “temporarily” in Poland, who will have “de facto and de jure the same opportunities as Poles“.
On the other hand, he explained that he is going to introduce a joint customs control with Poland. “This will significantly speed up border procedures. It will eliminate most of the corruption risks. But it is also the beginning of our integration into the common customs area of the European Union”.
