Russia speaks out on a possible nuclear war
Russia has indicated this Thursday that a nuclear war is “impossible”, since “it would mean the end of civilization”, as pointed out by the deputy director of the Department of Non-Proliferation and Arms Control of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Igor Vishnevetski.
“Such a war is impossible. I think many specialists and experts understand what the consequences of a nuclear war could be.”he added.. “It cannot be by definition,” he continued, before urging that this scenario “should not be allowed under any circumstances,” according to the Russian news agency TASS.
