The war has displaced more than 3 million Sudanese, and more than 550,000 have fled to neighboring countries, such as South Sudan. In Gorom refugee camp, about 20 kilometers from the capital Juba, hunger and despair are pervasive among the refugees. They number more than 5,000 and the majority have so far received no humanitarian aid.
