Iran’s official agency IRNA, in its news based on the statement of the Revolutionary Guards Army, noted that 5 Iranians, described as “military advisors working in Syria and defenders of the shrine”, were killed and many others were injured in Israel’s attack.
“WILL NOT BE LEAVED UNANSWERED”
Iranian President Ibrahim Reisi, in his statement after the attack, described Israel’s attack on Damascus as a “terrorist act” and stated that these attacks “show Israel’s desperation against the resistance front.”
Reisi stated that in addition to Iran’s “5 military advisors”, Syrian forces also died in the attack, adding that this attack “will not be left unanswered by Iran”.
Reisi expressed his condolences to the country and their relatives and families for the Revolutionary Guard members Hucccetullah Omidvar, Ali Ağazade, Hüseyin Muhammedi, Said Kerimi and Muhammed Emin Muhammedi, who lost their lives in the attack.
