To mark World No Tobacco Day, Chatham-Kent Public Health has announced a new quit-smoking resource.

Beginning this month, the CK Stop program will be available to Chatham-Kent residents looking to quit smoking or vaping through the use of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT), such as patches or gum.

This program, offered in partnership with the Center for Addiction and Mental Health. is open to Chatham-Kent residents 18 and over who have no primary care provider and meet eligibility criteria.

Those eligible can receive up to 26 weeks of free NRT products, and access to counseling supports of their choice.
