The UK government announced on Thursday that it wants to ease the rules on how much liquid air passengers can take on board from June 2024.
Today, only containers with a maximum of 100 milliliters of liquid may be taken on board, provided that they are taken through the security check in a transparent plastic bag.
According to the proposal presented to parliament on Thursday, the limit for liquids on board the country’s airports is to be raised to two litres.
