Wallaceburgs River of Lights kicking off fundraising efforts

The River of Lights committee, formed by the Downtown Wallaceburg BIA, is kicking off its fundraising efforts.

The committee is a group of community volunteers working to design and fundraise for new holiday decorations in the downtown core.

Re:find Charity Thrift Shoppe is also involved and will donate all proceeds on May 26 and 27 to the River of Lights campaign.

The store is located at 216 Nelson St. in Wallaceburg. The hours on Friday are from 10 am to 4 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm The fundraising campaign does not include online purchases.

They will also be accepting cash donations for the River of Lights on these two days.

Re:find is run by volunteers and supports the Wallaceburg Christian School and other local charities.
