A 45-year-old Wallaceburg man is facing charges after being found in the garage of a Hudson Crescent home in Wallaceburg just after 7 pm Saturday.
Chatham-Kent police said a resident saw the accused inside his garage allegedly stealing his belongings.
The resident approached the accused resulting in him allegedly being assaulted, police said.
The accused was arrested for assault as well as break and enter and later released with a court date, police said.
