Wall Street ended the week down

The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.6 percent, the technology-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.1 percent, while the broad S&P 500 fell 0.3 percent.

The banking sector performed relatively strongly. For example, both JP Morgan and Citigroup rose 0.8 percent.

Clothing manufacturer Levi Strauss has lowered its profit forecast for the full year and the stock fell 7.7 percent.

During the day, a new report came out regarding jobs outside the agricultural sector. Among other things, it showed that slightly fewer new jobs were created in June than expected.

For the week as a whole, the Dow Jones lost 2.0 percent, the S&P 500 retreated 1.2 percent, while the Nasdaq fell 0.9 percent.
