Wall Street Bright After Inflation Data

The New York Stock Exchange is down

(Finance) – In New York, the stock is trading sharply higher Dow Jones (+1.75%), reaching 40,634 points; along the same lines, theS&P-500 continues the day with an increase of 1.27%. In money the Nasdaq 100 (+1.15%); as well as good performance by theS&P 100 (+1.18%).

On the macroeconomic front, the June US PCE inflation figure was in line with expectations. The personal spending price indicator is the most closely monitored by the Federal Reserve to assess price developments and guide monetary policy decisions.

The sectors in the S&P 500 stand out industrial goods (+2.10%), materials (+1.83%) and financial (+1.53%).

Between protagonists of the Dow Jones, 3M (+19.30%), Visa (+2.80%), Salesforce (+2.67%) and Travelers Company (+2.50%).

On the podium of Nasdaq stocks, Charter Communications (+16.77%), Baker Hughes Company (+4.95%), ON Semiconductor (+4.69%) and KLA-Tencor (+4.52%).

The worst performances, however, are recorded on DexComwhich gets -41.71%.

Thud of Biogenwhich shows a fall of 6.40%.

Letter on SiriusXMRadiowhich recorded a significant drop of 4.21%.

Undertone MongoDB which shows a reduction of 1.42%.
