The first edition of the Walk of Love was in 2016. In the years that followed, there were more and more participants. At the last edition, in 2019, more than 800 people participated. These editions took place in May because of the International Day against LGBTIQ + phobia on May 17. Starting this year, the parade will be held on a Saturday around Coming Out Day, which falls on October 11 annually.
