Christmas at Walibi Park with Merry ChristWAAAs
For the first edition of Merry ChristWAAAs, Walibi Rhône-Alpes opens from December 17 to 31, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on the 24th when it closes at 5 p.m. and on the 25th when it is closed all day. The entire park and attractions are decked out in Christmas colors and a whole program awaits families: shows and street walks, meeting Santa Claus in his chalet until December 24, fireworks every evening and skating rink!
What’s new in 2022 at Walibi Park?
For the opening of its 2022 season, the Walibi Park inaugurates a third themed area, Exotic Island. In this one, we will find a new attraction, the Tiki Academy, as well as two water play areas. In the Explorer Theater, visitors can discover the brand new show: The Power of Gaia.
What attractions at Walibi Park?
If you are not shy, fill up on thrills with attractions such as Eqwalizer or SkunX Tower. Then head to Radja River for guaranteed fun: board buoys and hurtle down the river! Activities like La Coccinelle and Bambooz River delight lovers of speed. Do you prefer quieter attractions? Head to Melody Road and Wab Tour to discover the park gently! The little ones have their own circuit and their own river and a brand new playground, from 3 years old! The area FestivalCity offers three attractions for young and old. Hurricane invites 32 passengers to climb aboard a swing in the form of a giant fan, for a whirlwind of thrills. Children will be able to discover Ballon Race, a colorful attraction for a trip in balloons at 2.5 meters in height. The bravest can brave mystical, a dizzying new attraction. 575 meters long, it includes a vertical descent of 31 m! Will you be able to overcome your fear and the voodoo spirits that inhabit it? From 1.05m, visitors will be able to embark on Airboat, the new attraction of the Voodoo district. This boat floating in the air will shake them! The Little Cauldrons, which will delight young and old. Climb aboard and twirl to the rhythm of incantations. The 2019 season also welcomes a new restaurant, At Marie Laveau’s, where visitors can sample the cuisine of a voodoo priestess. Finally, Dock’N Roll, is a boat that will not be easy for the 24 sailors who will have to face a few waves. What shows to see at Walibi Park?
Do not hesitate to take a break in one of the park’s relaxation areas, starting with the small farm and its corner of greenery. Ideal for recharging your batteries, it welcomes children and their families to observe and pet the farm animals. Walibi also offers exotic shows, such as “Extreme divers”. Also don’t miss the 3D cinema which embarks the little spectators in unique adventures, in music. Living instruments, Hard-rock stone giants and frantic dancing are on the program for this 3D film!
