Andrej Medvedev fled to Norway under dramatic circumstances January. Now he has been arrested at the border at Grense Jakobselv after being suspected of trying to cross the Russian border, writes TT.
The police announced on Friday that a man in his 20s had been arrested. On Saturday, defender Brynjulf Risnes confirmed that it is Medvedev who has been arrested.
“Participant in documentary project”
According to Brynulf Risnes, he denies having tried to get to Russia.
– Medvedev has explained that there is an international documentary project in progress that he is involved in, he tells TT.
In April earlier this year, Andrej Medvedev was arrested by Swedish police after going to Sweden to buy cigarettes.
