An estimated 957,700 spectators lined the sidelines, more than expected. They rate the event in a survey with an 8.3. There were no major incidents and the atmosphere was good. The activation program in the run-up to and around La Vuelta Holanda is also well appreciated, but there were fewer visitors and participants than hoped. Nevertheless, more than 60,000 participants and 300,000 visitors gave a score of 8.2 for the activities.
