Woudenberg for Ukraine was established within a few days in early March 2022. It is now a foundation with 5 board members. They provide reception for the refugees in Woudenberg with host families, give language lessons, organize activities and collect money. 170 Ukrainian refugees now reside in Woudenberg, 67 of whom are under the wings of the foundation. The municipality of Woudenberg recently organized a meet and greet with local companies and Ukrainians eager to work. 35 Ukrainians subsequently found a job.
