Peter de Vries is chairman of the Breukelen/Woerden Neighborhood Bus Association. The line runs between the two stations and stops along the way in Portengensebrug, Kockengen, Teckop, Kanis, and Kamerik. De Vries sees the added value of such a local bus in those towns and now wants to offer the same to Zegveld. “This is a very important connection, not only for Woerden and Breukelen but also for the places in between. But it can actually only be done with volunteers,” he says in the radio program Utrecht is awake on Radio M Utrecht.
