According to Koekkoek, things go wrong there too often. “What often goes wrong at a citizens’ council is that we ask people for ideas or advice, and then those advices disappear in a drawer,” says the Utrecht Member of Parliament during a broadcast of Stadhuisplein on Bingo FM. Her idea is that such national support could help set up such a citizens’ council so that something is done with the advice.
