ID.7, where the brand new battery pack is positioned, which we have not seen in any electric VW model, promises an electric range of up to 700 kilometers in parallel. The 82 kWh battery in the car, which is especially emphasized that it was developed to respond to long-distance driving, can be filled with fast charging support that increases up to 200 kW. It is planned that the family will be on the road gradually in 2023 in Europe and China, and from 2024 in North America and Turkey.
Volkswagen ID.7 technical specifications
The ID.7 will be the first MEB platform car to feature a new generation of high-efficiency powertrain as well as battery qualities. This makes the vehicle the member with the most powerful and highest torque electric drive motor in the Volkswagen ID range with 210 kW/286 PS. It has been announced that apart from the 82 kWh package, the product range will include the package we know from other ID models with 77 kWh capacity. Supporting fast charging up to 170 kW, this battery pack is expected to achieve a range of up to 615 kilometers. With ID.7, a completely new operating system integrated into the infotainment screen welcomes us.
