(Finance) – Theshareholders meeting of the South Tyrolean bank Volksbank has approved the distribution of a dividend from reserves of profits of over 10 million euros, in addition to the one distributed to shareholders last May for 32 million euros, equal to 67 cents per share. Therefore, the overall dividend exceeds 42 million euros, or 88 cents per share, which represents the highest annual yield in the history of the bank. The dividend will be paid with value date 1 October 2024
“The results achieved in recent years in terms of solidity, profitability and efficiency confirm the Bank’s ability to generate added value for the territory, also thanks to the greater liquidity of the stock – states the President Lukas Ladurner – In the first 8 months of 2024, the BPAA share remains the most traded share in terms of value within Vorvel’s Gate 3 trading sector. In 2024, the bank will distribute a total of 42 million euros in dividends, in addition to 1.6 million shares, applying an assignment ratio of 1 free share for every 30 held. We are confident that the bank will also be able to provide constant satisfaction to shareholders in the future through an adequate and continuous return over time”.
