(Finance) – Vodafone which one has been identified best 4G mobile network operator in Italy for 2021, according to the ranking on the quality of the mobile network compiled by Other consumption, the largest independent consumer organization in Italy. A ranking that the association determines based on the results of using the CheBanda app, with which users can measure the quality of their operator’s mobile network by sharing information with Altroconsumo.
The score of 26,646 points assigned to Vodafone testifies to the concrete use experience of users, which combines the speed download and upload to quality of the service.
The telephone company in fact boasts the fastest network (equal to 39.9Mbps average in download) and also the optimal browsing and viewing quality in streaming: 84% of excellent samples in opening internet pages (opening time less than 3 seconds) and 48% of excellent samples in opening streaming video clips (start time less than 2 seconds).
Its position is strong in all regions, with peaks in download speeds in Abruzzo, Calabria, Campania, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Puglia and other regions. The evaluation carried out in the main Italian cities shows that the company shows the best speed in six of the eight cities in the sample.
THE 5G test on the Vodafone network show a speed in download four times higher compared to 4G and a latency more than halved compared to 4G.
The ability of the Vodafone network to offer the best mobile user experience, therefore, is rewarded once again and a short distance from the recognition of Open Signal, which awarded the company six out of seven awards for the quality of users’ mobile network experience, and of Protection, an independent crowdsourcing data company, which recognizes Vodafone as the operator offering the best overall mobile experience in Italy.
