The company said in a statement today, vivo S16 announced that the series will officially arrive on December 22. In preparation for the following sales, in vivo it has also created a series of landing pages across retailers that reveal the entire range. These models are normal vivo S16, vivo S16 Pro and vivo S16e.
All three devices will feature a similar design with circular LED flash, as the phone is aimed at teenagers who like to take photos and videos all the time.
The company did not reveal any specifics or details. So far, we’ve only heard rumors claiming that all three phones will feature autofocus 50MP selfie cameras. Vivo S16e is said to come with Dimensity 1080 chipset, vivo S16 with Snapdragon 870 chipset, and vivo S16 Pro with Dimensity 8200 chipset, which was recently released by Mediatek.
The previous series had at least 66W fast charging, and we can see vivo bump the speeds up to 80W in at least some of the new series. The devices will run the OriginOS Ocean interface right out of the box, but just like other vivo S devices, we’re likely to see them rebranded as a vivo V smartphone outside of China.
