Futura joins forces with VivaTech, Europe’s biggest technology event, which returns after two complicated years for 4 days of business, inspiration and innovation in Paris from June 15 to 18.

VivaTech, the largest European trade show dedicated to tech, is the unmissable event dedicated to innovation. It will be held this year from June 16 to 19, Porte de Versailles in Paris. Futura covers this event by following EDF and particularly its “EDF Pulse” system.

The new edition of the now high mass of tech on the European continent returns in a format hybridhalf-distance half-face-to-face, initiated in 2021 due to the crisis of Covid-19. If the sanitary constraints are fortunately now lifted, the show intends to take advantage of the digital to open more widely doors of the event to as many people as possible around the world.   • Mobility reboundafter the major shift taken by the sector over the past two years;
  • Future of workto change working practices in a sustainable way;
  • Inclusion is a mindsetso that diversity, whether “gendered”, geographical or social, is better taken into account in theuniverse technology;
  • Web3 & Metavers, exploring emerging technologies, from Web3 to decentralization, from quantum to metaverse ;
  • European scale-upswhich will highlight the scene start-up bubbling and creative European.

1,500 exhibitors from over 30 countries

As Europe’s biggest technology event, VivaTech obviously thinks big with 1,500 exhibitors from more than 30 countries. Note a strong increase in the European contingent with, in particular, the involvement of the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Space Agency (ESA), but also the strengthening of the AfricaTech program with seven partner countries. In terms of new products, VivaTech is launching its Key Business Programs dedicated to business communities particularly involved in digital transformation via conference sessions, a lounge as well as Side Events themes.

The event also allows the meeting between young start-ups of theecosystem, French and international unicorns, recognized companies and big names in tech. Are expected in particular: Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia; Tony Fadell, the designer of theiPod ; Evan Spiegel, co-founder of theapplication mobile Snapchat; Ryan Roslansky, CEO of LinkedIn; Yann LeCun, considered one of the inventors ofdeep learning ; or Changpeng Zhao, the boss of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency trading platform.
