Great sci-fi anthology for free: A Thousand Suns

Curtain up for filmmaker MacGregor, the Blackmilk Studio and their artistic short film project A Thousand Suns. “A memory-expanding sci-fi anthology exploring visions of the human past, present and future”, as the official description says. Overall are 22 episodes plannedsix of them are online so far on the studio’s official YouTube channel and are really impressive.

Also involved as directors are Ruairi Robinson as well as Tyson Wade Johnston, Tim Hyten and Philip Gelatt.

Production design and special effects look spectacular, especially for an independent production. Project dad Macgregor said the following about his sci-fi baby on Reddit: This project took five years of my life and I hope you guys like it. I’m finishing the website now and releasing it for free in a few weeks.”

For fans of sci-fi anthologies like Tales From the Loop, Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams or Love, Death & Robots, this free-to-watch short film project is a futuristic treat.
