Annick Verhaar failed to qualify for the international tennis tournament in Eindhoven. De Bilthovense lost in the second round of the qualifying tournament in two sets against Danique Havermans: 2-6, 4-6. In the first round, Verhaar was far too strong for Luxembourg’s Erna Brdarevic: 6-1, 6-0.
