Since 1970, vertebrate populations have declined by more than 60% and more than 600 million birds have disappeared in Europe. According to researchers, a sixth mass extinction is underway. The sixth extinctionis the title of the exhibition by photographer Alain Ernoult at the Visa pour l’image festival currently being held in Perpignan.
