Virkia and Pesäkarhut opened the quarterfinals with a thriller | Sports in a nutshell

The women’s Superpesi quarterfinals continued.

The quarterfinals of the Women’s Super Pesis have been started for all match pairs.

Lapuan’s Virki had a tight match with Pori’s Pesäkarhuje. Riina Kerolan led by two runs, Virkia led the opening period 3–0 before the inning of Pesäkarju’s last inning. In that, the people of Pori got on top of the run, but the opening period ended 3–2 for Virkiia.

However, in the second period, the Nest Bears continued where they left off and were on top of their game. The Pori team won the period 3–1. Two of the three runs went Henna Suominen to the names.

That’s how the quarterfinal opener progressed to a super innings and eventually a home run contest. In the end, the match turned, as it did for Virkiai, when the take-off competition ended with numbers 4–3 for the people of Lapland.

Manse PP, on the other hand, did not give Vaasan Mailattari a chance to surprise. Tampere took the opening period without allowing a single run. In the second period, Mailattare got level at the end of the fourth, but the final numbers of the match were recorded 1–0 to Manse.

The quarter-final series is thus in the same numbers. You get to the semi-finals with three wins.
